About us
Established since the 60s in the heartlands of Commonwealth Drive, Queenstown Lutheran Church is the second oldest Lutheran congregation in Singapore. As a community of faith that loves and glorify God, we practice our Christian faith through worship, service, and a focus in discipleship.
As a Lutheran congregation, we follow the liturgical order of worship from the Lutheran Hymnal and the reading of the sermon texts according to the lectionary. We also have a liturgical contemporary Worship, blending Praise and worship songs with liturgical order of service.

Pastoral Team
Rev. Andrew Thinagaran
Rev. Andrew joined Queenstown Lutheran Church in January 2019. He worked 14 years in the electronics industry before joining as a church staff and served in the Anglican and Presbyterian churches after his graduation from the Singapore Bible College.
His main goal in life and ministry is to point everyone to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and his passion are in both bible study and the teaching ministry. He is married to Grace and they have three beautiful children.
Rev. Eric Chan Chee Keong (陈志强牧师)
Rev. Chan graduated from Trinity Theological College (TTC), in 2004 and the ExCo assigned him to Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer (LCOR). He was ordained in 2010. In his first four years at LCOR, he was mainly responsible for the elderly and community care ministries; and later, he worked with the youths. After 10 years at LCOR, LCS sent him to study at the Lutheran Theological Seminary (LTS) in Hong Kong where he graduated with a MA in Diakonia in 2015. After his graduation, he continued to serve in LCOR and was the Pastor-In-Charge till his posting to QLC.
He is married to Cheong Koh Ping, who works as a Human Resource Senior Manager. They have three teenage children: Enoch, Jolene, and Josiah. His favourite exercise is swimming, and during his rest days, he will immerse himself in cooking. He also enjoys bringing his family overseas for a holiday.
Rev. Sarah Ang (汪思恩牧师)
Rev. Sarah Ang is an ordained minister of the Lutheran Church in Singapore. She graduated with a Master of Divinity from Trinity Theological College and has been serving at Queenstown Lutheran Church since 2019.
Before God called her into full-time ministry, she worked in quantity surveying, property valuation, and management. She now finds great joy in helping people know the living God and grow deeper in relationship with Him.
Rev Sarah loves spending time with her husband Gabriel, her friends, enjoying good coffee, and occasionally singing her heart out at karaoke.
