a?To involve all QLC members in Missions in big and small waysa?
The EM Mission Board serves to nurture and engage our members in evangelism and disciple-making in a cross-cultural setting primarily outside of Singapore. Besides encouraging the congregation through awareness activities, exposure trips, financial, administrative and prayer support, the team also facilitates effective mission-related communication between the bigger body of Lutheran Churches of Singapore (LCS), QLC, missionaries and mission agencies in the region.
Mission Exposure Trips
Mission trips are real and practical ways for our members to experience God in real and meaningful ways in other parts of the world. Besides physical engagement and understanding, our members are often moved spiritually by Godas compassion for His needy people in the fields. The EM MB takes an active role in planning and coordinating trips that involve the church in both LCS mission work as well as independent QLC missions to Myanmar and Cambodia. In the long term, QLC plans to adopt an unreached people group.
Kairos Course 2012
QLC members can learn more about God’s work around the world, in fulfillment of His global purpose by attending the well-structured Kairos Courses. The EM MB encourages all to join as the course is designed to educate and mobilise the Church into strategic world Christian mission.
